Chief Sales Officer


We are looking for a Chief Sales Officer that is highly experienced in the planning, development and execution of the Bizuma’s global sales initiatives, including lead generation, evaluation and pitching to clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CSO will be responsible to ensure sustainable revenue growth by constantly maximizing market penetration. The CSO will need to provide leadership, direction, and resources to the sales department and is accountable for the overall sales department performance and the alignment of the business strategy.

The sales team works closely alongside the marketing, customer services and operations teams in order to optimise sales strategies. The team is responsible for all sales initiatives through all of Bizuma’s sales channels.  


You will have the opportunity to work with our internal teams on all aspects of our sales including:

  • Increase sales through leading, designing, and implementing the business’s development activities
  • Spearheading the sales department’s strategy and development
  • Conducts business analyses, performance analyses, competitive analyses etc
  • Set, track, review and report sales results and KPI’s
  • Acquire reliable and comprehensive data on sales and customer experience from different departments
  • Mentor key personnel in the sales department
  • Spot opportunities in the market and drive the growth of the business
  • Understand user behaviours and the desired customer needs to inform key decisions and planning


  • Proven experience as chief sales officer or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience in developing effective strategies and business plans for all sales and business development aspects
  • Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing; both for new business and existing business
  • Highly technologically adept and possess an understanding of software systems, practice management systems, distribution networks, and ad tools and platforms
  • Meet annual revenue goals
  • Creative ideas to identify, explore and test different sales opportunities
  • Ability to leads and inspire a team
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills


  • Masters degree in either sales, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, or any other business related field.
