Human Resource Manager

Overview

The Human Resource Manager will have to execute and coordinate a broad range of human resource functions for the Company.

The successful applicant will manage HR operations and is directly responsible for the respective foreign-based employees and expatriate/visa matters.  As the Human Resource manager you will also be responsible for payroll activities and ensuring quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation on all HR related matters. This role will include, but is not limited to, employment law, benefits, payroll, compensation, employee relations, and performance management.

The HR manager will be a business partner and align the business objectives with employees and management in the designated business unit.  This person will serve as a consultant to management on HR related issues, supporting multiple markets/locations and remote employees.  

Responsibilities

  • Serves as an internal consultant to all levels within the organization ensuring compliance with all local regulations/laws consistency and support of the Company‚Äôs values, goals, objectives and mission to local employees and entities.
  • Manage Internal Communications and Announcements, training of staff, events etc.
  • Provides leadership and initiative in issues of change management, employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to take ideas and convert them to action, influence others, work harmoniously with broad range of internal and external talent and vendors, analyze workforce, and work with Management to develop succession plans.
  • Counsels and assists supervisors and managers in performance-related issues.
  • Analyzes wage and salary reports to determine compensation plan.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or other departments in the organization.
  • Responsible for analyzing, implementing and updating employee benefit programs
  • Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, information activities program, and cash flow.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assign.
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Challenges the organizational structure and proposes changes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting multiple business locations and remote employees
  • Should have a good understanding of employee benefit programs
  • Solid understanding of local laws, customs, and business acumen
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics in duties and responsibilities
  • Flexibility in accepting and responding to change
  • Positive, "can do" attitude with an objective approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and able to communicate clearly/concisely across multiple business levels on multiple subjects
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work self sufficiently
